Bio

I am a dedicated PhD candidate, delving into the intricate dimensions of death, grief, and design. As a death scholar, my academic pursuits are driven by a commitment to unpacking the complexities of death literacy and devising innovative strategies to enhance public comprehension of this profound facet of human existence. My research endeavors traverse the realm of memorialisation practices, meticulously examining the interplay between materiality and the construction of meaning.

I firmly advocate that design serves as a potent instrument in reshaping conversations surrounding these profound subjects, as a conduit that bridges the chasm between life and death. I aspire to lead individuals on transformative journeys of understanding and healing.

My doctoral journey is guided by a steadfast commitment to enriching the human experience through intentional design and poignant exploration.
